Herpes Simplex Virus-1 gD protein (Recombinant) (STJP000527)

Current Stock:
Host: E.coli
Applications: ELISA, WB
Short Description: Recombinant-Herpes Simplex Virus-1 gD-protein was developed from e.coli. For use in research applications.
Conjugation: Unconjugated
Formulation: Lyophilized from 25mM Tris-Hcl pH 7.2, 1mM EDTA and 50% glycerol.
Dilution Range: Spin the vial and reconstite in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This can then be diluted into other buffers.
Storage Instruction: The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at-20°C. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored in working aliquots at 2-8°C for one month, or at-20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss
Immunogen Region: Immunodominant Fragment
Background Recombinant HSV-1 gD encodes the immunodominant sequences of the human Herpesvirus Glycoprotein D. This molecule has a calculated mass of approximately 16kDa. Recombinant HSV1 gD contains an N terminal GST purification tag and migrates as an approximately 42 kDa protein under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.
