Cellular Responses To External Stimuli

Cells respond to external stimuli via receptors located on the cell surfaces. These receptors are sensing components, monitoring stimuli and responding to all changes in the surrounding environment by relaying a signal targeting a control centre. After that, the signal is further processed and a response is given. Lastly, via the process of transduction stimuli always transform into electrical signals.
